Why is this magnetic?

So ive just noticed that one of the top corners of the lid of my laptop is creating a magnetic field that isn’t present on the other corner, as im typing this theres a fairly large bolt just hangin there, just next to the screen; how is this magnet not damaging the hard drive?  Its a Satellite A305
