The Best $80 I’ve Ever Spent
For most of my life I have wore tennis shoes, everything from Jordan’s to Nike Air Max’s. I have consistently relished and preferred athletic shoes to chic shoes, like from Heels coupons, as if my first statement didn’t validate that.
One day I was going to buy a new MAC compact and I walked by the ladies shoe store and could not tear away from this one pair of shoes. Let’s just say they were positively not Jordans and they were something that I would normally just stroll by. They were a pair of bronze cork heels with some gems on it…once again I am showing my true know how of heels. Well, I experienced the similar feelings as when I enter a Foot Locker or go online at Eastbay coupons, they were mine to be had! I gave them a test drive, let’s just say, even though I was 3 ½ inches taller, it was as if I was sporting a pair of athletic shoes or even cheesier, I was walking on air. Typical me, I caved. They were cost less than Jordans and I must come clean, they were too cute!
Most shoe has a “break ‘em in” term, but these, oh these lovely shoes wore without any problems. Also, it was probably the 1st time I have ever got a praise on my shoes from a “girl”! Typically I hear from the guys about my Jordans or set of athletic shoes, but not the women. I must say, it was a much needed change.
I still wear these dressy shoes, they are five years old and still wowing. When one treats your dressy shoes like Jordans, minus the basketball playing, by storing them in the original box and clean them after each wear, you have them for a lifetime.
I continue to await the coming of spring and summer when I can flash my Athena Alexanders. Even till this day, they still make me feel like I am gliding on air and the compliments continue to fly.
